Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Luca Veni is a classically trained violinist currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Violin Performance at Kennesaw State University. His teachers include Helen Kim, Kenn Wagner, and Charae Krueger. During his time at KSU, he has served as Concertmaster of the KSU Symphony for many cycles. His quartet has also been featured in multiple events around the KSU campus and surrounding areas. Known for his extraordinary talent and dedication to music, his love for music has taken him to a solo recital at Weill Recital Hall within the Carnegie Hall stages. Luca has spent numerous summers at summer festivals in which he was awarded Concertmaster at the New England Conservatory’s International Summer Institute where he was coached by esteemed conservatory faculty from around the country and played in masterclasses with NEC faculty live for other students to attend. Besides the KSU Symphony Orchestra, Luca is currently a member of the Georgia Philharmonic under the baton of Tamara Dworetz which he is the Assistant Concertmaster of. 

Throughout highschool, Luca was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras. From grades 6 to 12, Luca performed in 7 successful auditions to GMEA’s All State Orchestras. Alongside All State, Luca was also a part of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Gwinnett County Youth Symphony, the Ludwig Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Festival Academy to name a few. He has been a finalist for multiple Concerto Competitions and was selected to perform with the North Gwinnett High School Symphony Orchestra to play Bruch’s Violin and Viola Concerto. During his senior year, he was accepted into the Emory Youth Chamber Program with his Trio. From this experience, he had weekly coachings from the multi-award winning Vega Quartet which led his Trio, the Tempest Trio, to audition for the Franklin Pond Chamber Competition. Post competition, his trio was awarded with the School Prize and a $1000 cash prize.
